Privacy policy
This policy describes BrainWod, published by TonTech. Contact us at info@tontech.co about privacy or data requests.
Progress on your device
BrainWod stores puzzle scores, session dates, difficulty, preferences and onboarding status locally. History is limited to 365 saved sessions. There is no BrainWod login or cloud progress sync. Device operating systems may include app data in backups according to your settings.
Optional personal profile
You may choose an age range and gender during onboarding or in Settings. Both are optional and stored only on your device. BrainWod does not send these profile details to TonTech, analytics services or advertisers, and does not use them for ad targeting. You can change or clear them in Settings. Feedback compares your own sessions; BrainWod does not provide validated age- or gender-based cognitive assessments.
Optional features
Usage analytics is off by default. When you enable it and the service is available, limited events can include timestamps, screens visited, session type, puzzle scores and interactions. You can turn it off in Settings. The app retains only a bounded, temporary queue of events. Optional analytics and remote push registration are not connected in the current release configuration.
Reminders require your permission. Current reminders are scheduled locally. If remote reminders become available, this policy will be updated to describe the receiving service and retention before that feature is enabled.
Advertising
Where optional rewarded ads are available, BrainWod uses Google AdMob. Consent choices are requested before ad initialization; iOS may also ask for tracking permission. Ad requests are set to nonpersonalized. That does not mean no data is processed: Google may receive IP addresses, device identifiers, diagnostic and performance information, ad interactions and approximate location inferred from an IP address. You can review advertising privacy choices in Settings. See Google’s privacy policy.
Purchases
Where Premium is available, Apple or Google handles payment and RevenueCat manages access. This may involve an anonymous app-user identifier, purchase receipts or tokens, subscription status and device information. BrainWod does not receive your payment-card details. Sharing and support
Sharing a challenge sends the text, score and dated invitation you choose to your selected sharing app. BrainWod does not request your contacts. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments and use them to respond and resolve your request. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
Retention and your choices
Local data remains until you delete it, remove the app, or older history is replaced by the 365-session limit. Use Settings → Delete data on this device. This also resets local preferences and reminder scheduling. It does not cancel store subscriptions or automatically erase records already held by a service or in a device backup.
Contact info@tontech.co to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent to TonTech. Support information is kept as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations. Service providers handle their records under their policies and applicable requirements. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including withdrawing consent or contacting a privacy regulator.
Website and service providers
This informational website has no signup form or added analytics scripts. Hosting and network providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure it. Links to other services are governed by their policies. Service providers may process information outside your country.
Audience and updates
BrainWod is designed for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information. We update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the date above.
