Pocket Routes

Privacy policy

Effective 20 October 2026

This policy describes Pocket Routes, developed by TonTech. Contact info@tontech.co about privacy or support.

Game data on your device

Progress, unfinished puzzles, best scores, selected worlds, audio settings and reminder preferences are stored locally. Core play does not require an account. We do not run a separate gameplay analytics or cloud-save service in this version. Device and operating-system backup settings may affect local app data.

Advertising and consent

The app integrates Google AdMob, Google's User Messaging Platform, and NUVIAD interstitial advertising. TonTech can remotely change the provider mix separately for between-delivery and optional hint ads. Ad services may process IP addresses and approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad views and interactions, product interactions, crash information, performance and other diagnostic information. These support advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation. Data may be linked to a device; advertising identifiers may be used for tracking when permission is granted. We do not request precise GPS location.

Advertising requests are gated by the available consent flow. Tracking on iOS is subject to App Tracking Transparency permission. Where available, revisit consent in Settings → Ads and privacy, and change tracking permission in iOS Settings. Turning off tracking does not necessarily stop all ad-related data processing. Beta versions use test ads, but still include Google's SDKs.

Google processes information under its Privacy Policy. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure for SDK details. We do not control Google's independent retention periods.

NUVIAD requests use basic operating-system, language and display information, an ephemeral session token and the network IP address. This integration does not send NUVIAD an advertising identifier, a persistent user identifier or precise location. Ad views and clicks are reported to the ad provider. Test builds request test inventory. Contact TonTech at info@tontech.co for questions about NUVIAD processing.

The app retrieves a small public advertising configuration from TonTech’s GitHub Pages site and caches it locally. GitHub receives the network information needed to serve that file. No game progress or advertising identifier is included in the configuration request.

TonTech recommendations

If the selected advertising network has no ad available, Pocket Routes may display a TonTech game recommendation. The app downloads a public recommendation feed and its images from appadmin.tontech.co, stores them locally for offline display, and removes images no longer referenced by the feed. These downloads include only the network information needed to serve the files, without game progress, advertising identifiers or precise location. Tapping Learn more opens the advertised destination in your browser or app store.

Reminders

Optional daily reminders are scheduled on your device after notification permission is granted. This version does not register for developer-operated remote push messages or send the developer an installation notification. You may disable reminders in the app or iOS Settings.

Sharing and multiplayer

Sharing opens the system share sheet with a result image and puzzle code. You choose the destination. The app does not upload your address book. Friend codes work without a player account. If you connect to an online room server, it receives network information, room codes, temporary player tokens, moves and game results needed to operate the room. The included server expires rooms after 24 hours; separately operated servers may have their own policies. A public hosted room service is not currently provided.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments. We use these to respond and investigate the issue. Please send only information relevant to your request. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any records we must retain.

Control and deletion

You can change audio, notification and advertising preferences in Settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to operating-system backups. Contact us regarding data you sent directly to support. Requests concerning information processed independently by Google may also need to be directed to Google. Privacy rights depend on your location and applicable law.

Children

Pocket Routes is a general-audience game and is not submitted to Apple's Kids Category. We do not knowingly request children's personal information through an account or chat. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern can contact us.

Security and international processing

Network services and email may process information in countries outside your own. We use service providers and reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
