Trivia Stakes — Community Content Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-28
This policy governs Community Topics — trivia topics created by players and shared with, or published to, other players in Trivia Stakes. It is the user-generated content (UGC) policy and end-user license terms referenced in the app's "Save & share" flow.
1. Zero tolerance for objectionable content
There is no tolerance for objectionable, abusive, illegal, or harmful content in Community Topics. By creating, sharing, or publishing a topic you agree not to submit content that:
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence or discrimination;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualizes or endangers minors;
- is defamatory, deceptive, or knowingly false in a harmful way;
- promotes self-harm, illegal acts, or dangerous activities;
- infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- contains personal or identifying information about others;
- is spam, advertising, or attempts to manipulate other players.
2. How content is reviewed
- Automated screening before exposure. Every shared or published topic — its title, description, and generated statements — is screened by an automated moderation system before it can be seen by anyone other than its creator. A topic that fails screening stays private to its creator.
- No screening = no exposure. If screening cannot be completed, the content is not made visible to others (the system fails closed).
3. How you can report and block
- Report: every Community Topic has a Report action (offensive, spam, incorrect facts, or other). Reports are reviewed promptly.
- Automatic removal: a topic that receives reports past a low threshold is immediately hidden from everyone, pending review.
- Block: you can block a creator at any time; you will no longer see any of their topics.
4. Enforcement
We may remove any topic, and suspend or ban any account, that violates this policy — without prior notice. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent removal of the ability to create or share Community Topics.
5. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You retain ownership of your content but grant Trivia Stakes a license to host, display, moderate, and distribute it within the app for the purpose of operating the Community Topics feature.
6. Contact
To report content or a policy concern, use the in-app Report action, or contact info@tontech.co. We aim to respond to reports of objectionable content and remove violating content within 24 hours.
